Heike Krieger has published an article entitled 'A Credibility Gap: The Behrami and Saramati Decision of the European Court of Human Rights' which deals with one of the most debated decisions of the Court in the last few years. The decision of non-admissibility in
Behrami and Saramati dealt with the accountability for human rights violations which occurred in the context of a peacekeeping operation (in this case in Kosovo) and the interrelationship between the ECHR and the UN system. The article has been published in the latest issue of the
Journal of International Peacekeeping (vol. 13 Nos. 1-2, 2009), as the
International Law Reporter reports.
